Hotel & Chefs Academy
Hotel & Chefs Academy (HCA) is a leading Hotel and Chefs training school located in Nairobi Metropolis, Githurai 45. The Academy was established in the year 2019 on the basis of the founders’ desire to offer hospitality and culinary arts education and training at its finest. Our philosophy of teaching and training is anchored on the Three Pillars Approach to hospitality and culinary training, that is:
- Theoretical knowledge.
- Technical and Vocational skills.
- Professional attitudes and personal development.
The result of this approach is that our programs combine college teaching
with industry-standard practical training, which is further augmented by
mentorship and industry exposure.
Besides the theory and practical applications at the Academy, our programs
include periods of industrial attachment and internship at leading hospitality
brands, during which learners are given the opportunity to put into practice
their skills, knowledge and attitudes under the guidance of industry
professionals. The Academy is fully equipped with modern training kitchens, lecture rooms,
a resource centre and other modern college facilities. All students have
access to free computer lessons and foreign language training.
